Just thought that I would put a word in on the work that the folks at Reser's are doing in the realm of Trail Advocacy.
I have been working with Jason and the Northern Kentucky Chapter of KyMBA for over a year making in-roads with the Campbell County, Boone County, and Covington city parksd epartments for the installation of new multi-use trails in a number of local parks. What this means is, new mountain bike trails for us all to enjoy. We have been successful in getting permission for new trail systems in A.J. Jolly Park outside of Alexandria and a new park under construction in rural Boone County. Additionally, a recent public meeting was held for the new Master Plan for the Devou Park in Covington, and the presentation used agreat deal of the information and ideas that we presented to the planners in a presentation we provided nearly a year ago. So, things are looking good for future trails in Devou Park.
In short, I suppose that I am trying to say is that Reser's not only provides you with rides, but they also are working hard to make sure that you have a place to enjoy you new bike. So your dollars not only buy you a nice rig, but get you some public service and advocacy as nice fringe benefits.
